Flame Control FC2020A is a Class A fire retardant paint that combines a smooth flat finish with powerful fire protection. Designed for use on interior drywall, wood, and other substrates, this water-based coating applies just like conventional latex paint—but performs when it matters most.

In the presence of heat or flame, the coating intumesces, forming a thick, sponge-like cellular foam layer. This char layer insulates the surface beneath, slowing heat penetration, reducing flame spread, and helping delay structural failure.
